Health tip:

To lose weight, some sacrifices and real determination are needed.
On P 10, you give up grains and alcohol just for 3 weeks. You also give up chemicals, sugar, refined carbs, fake low-fat and low-carb foods, hyrdogenated fats, and nitrites, hopefully for life. You eat rich food that may be you never ate before. P 10 is only half the solution. Are you ready to apply what you learnt? It takes determination. We know you have it since you are all here. Kudos to all P 10 fans. You can do it.

Health tip:

Acne by its very nature can be considered a hormonal disease. Hormones are responsible for the maturation of the oil glands in our skin. This is why children do not experience acne. More specifically, acne may be precipitated by androgens, male hormones present in both men and women. The oil surplus created by these hormones may be instrumental in clogging hair follicles where bacteria... grows and causes acne pimples and blemishes. Estrogen Hormonal acne is seen mostly in women due to the natural cycles a woman goes through, such as menstruation, pregnancy and menopause. Because of this, doctors sometimes prescribe low-dose birth control pills and/or androgen receptor blockers to reduce blemishes by keeping androgens steady. If you have acne, don't just take meds, get to know your hormone levels.

About Internal Medicine

Internists are qualified physicians with postgraduate training in internal medicine and should not be confused with "interns", who are doctors in their first year of residency training.[2] Although internists may act as primary care physicians, they are not "family physicians," "family practitioners", or "general practitioners", whose training is not solely concentrated on adults and may include surgery, obstetrics, and pediatrics. The American College of Physicians defines internists as "physicians who specialize in the prevention, detection and treatment of illnesses in adults".[3]
